Preparations for the 25th World Championships in Natural Track Luge, set to take place from January 17th to 19th 2025 in Kühtai (AUT), are in full swing.

Kühtai (FIL/8.11.2024) Recently, the organising club, RC Kühtai-Sellraintal, led by President Marco Holzknecht, who personally put in many hours of work, focused on building a starting house. The Tyrolean Luge Association, under President Peter Knauseder, acted as the principal builder.

Thanks also go to Innsbruck Tourism, particularly Infrastructure Manager Christoph Stock, for ongoing support, as well as to the Längenthalalpe Agricultural Community, headed by Chairman Hubert Leitner, who had previously provided the necessary land for the construction of the luge track.

The starting house, which is a true gem, ensures that athletes will have optimal conditions ahead of each run during the 2024/25 season highlight. Among other amenities, it offers a space for athletes to warm up before embarking on their high-speed races in pursuit of gold, silver, and bronze. The 25th Natural Track Luge World Championships will take place from January 17th to 19th, 2025, in Kühtai.
