Markus Prock new President of Austria’s Luge Federation

Semmering (RWH) Two-time World Champion Markus Prock became new President of Austria’s Luge Federation. The three-time Olympic medallist was elected at the 35th conference of the regional federations of Austria. Prock follows Dr. Michael Bielowski, who resigned for a re-election. This was now told in a press release.

Prock won gold at the 1987 and 1996  World ChampWorld onships in men’s single. Together with Italy’s Armin Zöggeler he is record winning champion of the overall Viessmann World Cup. So far Prock served as a Sport Director for the national federation.
