Whistler (FIL/18 Oct 2024) From February 6 to 8, 2025, the world of luge will turn its attention to Canada, as the 53rd FIL Luge World Championships take place in Whistler, British Columbia. Athletes from over 25 countries will race down the iconic Whistler Sliding Centre track, competing for the prestigious title of World Luge Champion. In this high-speed sport, athletes reach impressive speeds of up to 140 km/h as they navigate the challenging curves down Blackcomb Mountain.

For fans seeking an unforgettable experience, exclusive VIP tickets are now available for purchase in advance. These VIP tickets provide access to a luxurious VIP area with a heated tent, where live broadcasts of the races will be shown. A shuttle service from Whistler Village is included, along with gourmet catering featuring a lunch buffet on February 6 and dinner buffets on February 7 and 8. Drinks and a designated spectator area complete the premium package. By purchasing these VIP tickets, attendees also support Canada's luge programs.

General admission: $10 per day in advance, $15 at the gate
Weekend pass: $25 in advance, $40 at the gate
Children under 12: Free admission

Fans can access the track via the Excalibur Gondola mid-station free of charge. Please note that there is no on-site parking available.
