Announcement: 31st Gitschberg Start Cup Maranza

Maranza (FIL/16 Aug 2024) On August 23 and 24, 2024, the 31st International Gitschberg Luge Start Cup will take place in Maranza (ITA).

For the South Tyrolean and some international artificial track lugers, the traditional ice start competition of the Gitschberg Sports Club in South Tyrol has been a firm fixture in the season preparation calendar for many years. The national team from Italy has always competed in Maranza and will once again use the local ice for an intensive week of training in South Tyrol in 2024 under new head coach Klaus Kofler.
